[Stamp9G20] Booting stops after some "Buffer I/O error on device mtdblock5, logical block 3" messages

Hello,

one of our Stamp9G20 module sometime sotps booting after following messages

EXT3-fs: barriers not enabled
EXT3-fs (mmcblk0p1): warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended
kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
EXT3-fs (mmcblk0p1): using internal journal
EXT3-fs (mmcblk0p1): mounted filesystem with writeback data mode
VFS: Mounted root (ext3 filesystem) on device 179:1.
Freeing init memory: 112K
INIT: version 2.86 booting
Starting udevend_request: I/O error, dev mtdblock5, sector 24
Buffer I/O error on device mtdblock5, logical block 3
end_request: I/O error, dev mtdblock5, sector 80
Buffer I/O error on device mtdblock5, logical block 10

And sometimes it procedes working. then the following messages are printed.

Might this be some bad blocks in the flash memory?
If yes. Do you have a hint how to mark the blocks and let
linux ignore/skip them?
