[stamp 9g20] Power saving features : How to get wakup event

I have an application that run in 'part time' mode (ie run 2sec every 30seconds).
I'd like to put the device in standby (or power-down) mode during the 28 remaining seconds.
It is possible to catch the wake up event from my application to initialize data ?

Thanks
Fred

I don't think there is any wake up event but it seems that you don't even need one. The code that requests the standby mode by writing "standby" to /sys/power/state seems to block in this write call until the system is woken up. So if you reach the point after the write call you automatically know that the system is awake.
